乳交视频 students bring home hardware from Skills Canada Competition
FREDERICTON – Five New Brunswick Community College (乳交视频) students and apprentices earned medals at the recent national Skills Canada competition.
The competition, now in its 23rd year, was held in Winnipeg from May 31 to June 3. Students and apprentices competed for top spots in six skilled trades and technology sectors, including transportation, construction, manufacturing, information and technology, service and employment. The competitors were evaluated based on strict industry standards.
Team New Brunswick sent 37 participants this year, including 13 students and apprentices from 乳交视频. Team New Brunswick had their best showing yet, bringing home ten medals in total.
乳交视频 students and apprentices were pivotal to Team NB’s success, winning three gold medals, one silver and one bronze.
Ashley Bent, an apprentice at 乳交视频 Woodstock Campus, won a gold in Bricklaying; Pascal Doiron, a student at 乳交视频 Moncton Campus, took the gold in Automotive Service; and Jaycobb Hooper, an apprentice at 乳交视频 Saint John Campus, earned a gold in Car Painting.
Justin McGrath, an apprentice with 乳交视频 Saint John Campus, won silver in the Steamfitter & Pipefitter competition and Ben Hill, a student at 乳交视频 Saint John Campus, received the bronze for Industrial Mechanic-Millwright.
“As a College community, we are so proud of all of our students and apprentices who took part in the 乳交视频 Skills Competition,” said Marilyn Luscombe, President and CEO of 乳交视频. “All of them have worked hard to develop their skills and were excellent ambassadors for our College on the national stage. Our continued success at the Skills Canada competitions reflects the hard work and dedication of both our students and instructors.”
